Nortel Solution

The Nortel solution consisted of Nortel’s Metrocell CDMA base station, Data Only Module (DOM), RNC, PDSN, and
all OA&M components. The deployment, from contract signature to
service-ready network, was completed in a record-breaking four month
time.

Nortel’s 1xEV-DO solution offers unique features such as Ethernet
(100bT) connectivity on the DOM module for cost effective IP backhaul.
Also, Nortel has one of the highest capacity Radio Network Controllers
(RNC) supporting up to 200 base stations.
